Hey Howdy Hey, April!
I'm so glad that you've decided to once again make planDisney a
part of your world as you plan your upcoming magical vacation!
It sounds like you're in search of
adventure in the great wide somewhere, and I'm happy to confirm that the
Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade is the
practically perfect entertainment offering to scratch that adventurous itch! As the cavalcade passes by you'll be treated to waves from beloved characters and a catchy tune (helpfully
transcribed here by my pal Prince) all the way from Frontierland to Main Street, U.S.A. Personally, I love to enjoy parades and cavalcades in Frontierland because the parade passes through this area first, so it is super convenient to pop over and enjoy Pirates of the Caribbean of Jungle Cruise with minimal waits while the Guests who opted to enjoy the parade later in the route wait for it to arrive!
In my experience, crowds are often lighter in Frontierland, so you shouldn't have a problem arriving 15 to 20 minutes in advance and securing a front-row spot in the area. If front-row isn't a priority, I've been able to catch the cavalcade by popping in about 5 minutes before it begins! My husband and I recently enjoyed the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade from the steps at the entrance of
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe closest to Tiana's Bayou Adventure. My husband loved that he could wait in the shade, and it was super convenient to have a bit of an elevated seat to enjoy the parade (and high-five my favorite chipmunks) as it passed.
While you're in the area, April, I hope you'll consider stopping by my favorite restaurant,
Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen, for a bite. The (no-so-secret) Pão De Queijo, Nile Nellie's Noodle Bowl, and House-made Skipper Sangria are hidden gems in Magic Kingdom Park!
I'm thinking the happiest of thoughts that your upcoming vacation is filled with magical memories, April! If you have any additional questions, please feel free to
stop back by. I'm always happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
