How long in advance do you need to cancel a dinner reservation so that you won't be charged a fee?

Hi Nilson! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I will happily admit that eating my way around the Walt Disney World Resort is one of my favorite things about visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth!" There are SO many choices of dining locations that offer delicious foods that are both familiar and unique. I definitely don't leave my vacation hungry!

In most cases, the cancellation policy for Table-Service locations is that you must cancel at least one day prior to your reservation to not be charged the cancellation fee. There are a few locations and events that require more notice, like the Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace which requires at least five days' notice. When you book your dining reservation, you will have to check a box to agree to the cancellation terms and this will tell you that location's exact policy and you should also receive a confirmation email that will include the required cancellation notice window and the charge per person if you do not cancel in time or don't show for your reservation under "Guest Policies."

I hope this helps with your planning, Nilson! Please let us know if you have any other questions. Happy dining!
