love to land at my
Disney Resort hotel that makes a vacation suddenly feel very real!
And you picked a great spot.
Disney’s Pop Century Resort is one of my favorite Value Resorts, and the
Disney Skyliner is a HUGE reason why! There’s just something about starting a Disney day by hopping into your own little gondola and flying through the sky toward EPCOT or Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Transportation that feels like its own attraction? Yes, please!
Since you already have a Preferred Room booked, you’re in a great position for the ’60s section. Buildings 4 and 5 make up that area, and if that dreamy lake-facing location is your priority, I’d make my request something along the lines of “Building 4, upper floor, facing Hourglass Lake.”
I also have to give a shoutout to my fellow
planDisney Panelist Scott, who did some fantastic recon on this very topic! He found that rooms in the 4449–4460 range on the fourth floor of Building 4 may give you the kind of view you’re hoping for. Thanks for the intel, Scott!
Personally, I’d request the
location and view rather than one exact room number. That gives the room assignment team a little wiggle room to work some magic if your first choice isn’t available.

My Disney Experience and check out the room request options available for your reservation. Get those wishes in there and cross your fingers! Requests are never guaranteed, but I’m firmly on Team It-Never-Hurts-to-Ask.
