Fireworks dessert parties are some of my absolute favorite Walt Disney World Resort activities! What could be better than combining sweet treats and spectacular fireworks views? My favorite party to attend is the
Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing. In my opinion, the Plaza Gardens offer the best views of the
Happily Ever After Fireworks. From this vantage point, you can see not only the fireworks, but also the phenomenal lighting effects on
Cinderella Castle.
The schedules for events such as fireworks dessert parties tend to be a bit unpredictable as to when they are released. Some of these events are available for booking as far in advance as 180 days, similar to
dining reservations. Other event schedules only become available two or three months in advance. My family and I have an upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort scheduled for mid-February. We wanted to book the Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing, but the schedule was not available back in August when I made our dining reservations. It did, however, open up last month and I was able to secure our reservations.
Genevieve, I took a look at some dates around your listed arrival date, and I did not find any availability for the Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing. However, later in March of 2020, I see availability for this event. I am not sure if Vanellope von Schweetz is causing a glitch in the reservation system or if the party is completely booked for many of these dates. I recommend that you keep checking to see if your desired date is available. Even if the party is currently booked, people's plans change and some availability may open up at a later date. You also might want to call the phone number listed on the
Enchanting Extras Collection webpage. A Cast Member there might be able to tell you if there is any availability for this event during your visit.
I hope that you will be able to attend the Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing, but if this does not work out for you, there are some other delightful dessert parties that you may wish to consider. The
Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace,
Magic Kingdom After-Fireworks Dessert Party, and
Ferrytale Fireworks: A Sparkling Dessert Cruise would all be wonderful alternatives.
