How long do I have to activate an annual pass?

    Hi Riza,

Purchasing an Annual Pass for Walt Disney World Resort is a great way to enjoy a yEAR of magic in the four Theme Parks. As a Florida resident, you can also take advantage of some great additional Annual Pass options, including the ability to purchase a Disney Gold Pass (available exclusively to Florida residents and Disney Vacation Club members), and the ability to pay for your Annual Pass over the course of the year with the Monthly Payment Program.

Riza, once you purchase your Annual Pass, you should ensure that it is linked to your My Disney Experience account. Then you will be able to see the date your Annual Pass will expire if it is not activated. Currently the date of expiration for Annual Passes is December 31, 2030. Yes, you read that right: 2030! Hopefully that should give you plenty of time to activate your Pass and enjoy a yEAR of magic in the Parks!

Once you activate your Annual Pass upon its first use, your My Disney Experience account will automatically update with the expiry date for your Annual Pass. That will make it easy for you to keep track of how much time is remaining.

Don't forget that as an Annual Passholder, you will be eligible for many Annual Pass benefits and discounts, including discounts on dining, merchandise, Walt Disney Resort hotel rooms (when available), tours and recreation, and my personal favorite perk, unlimited Disney PhotoPass downloads!

Wishing you a magical Disney yEAR with your Annual Pass!
