Hi, Jeannie!
Good for you wanting to travel to Walt Disney World! There is so much magic just waiting for you, I can see why you do not want to delay for another year!
Some suggestions....Start with your family! Perhaps you can find even one family member - maybe a sibling or grandchild - that may want to go. It does not have to be a grand gathering, just you and a pal! Sometimes it is nice to have just 2 people. This way you really get to do what you YOU want.
You may also want to contact your local AAA, AARP, Senior Center, or travel agent to see if they have any organized groups going to the House of Mouse. They might have the perfect vacation all organized for you, and all you have to do is pack your bag!
Finally, have you considered a solo trip? I have had the chance to travel for a day or two by myself to Walt Disney World, and I really enjoyed the relaxing pace. I took a book and read on Main Street USA, I lounged by the pool, and I proudly enjoyed snacks all around
World Showcase in Epcot! It was nice to do exactly what I wanted. You might even
take in a tour at one of the theme parks - there are so many options!
I hope you make that trip to
Walt Disney World, Grandmom, and when you do, say "HI" to Mickey Mouse for me!
Cathy
