Hi, Cindy!
Dress-up experiences like the
Pirates League and
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique are a great way to add a little extra magic to your child's Walt Disney World vacation. Some of my favorite Walt Disney World memories were made at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique with my own little princess.
It is very common to see young pirates and princesses all over the Walt Disney World theme parks all day long. My own daughter loved her princess dresses when she was younger. After an early morning appointment at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and some post-makeover pictures, she would swap her glass slippers for sneakers and be ready for some fun in the parks. That princess dress and tiara would stay on all day long. However, the amount of time a child will want to stay in their dress-up gear really depends on the individual kiddo (and how hot the Florida weather is that day).
I would suggest that you plan your child's makeover keeping in mind anything else that you would like to experience while your little one is all dressed up. For example, if you would like to take your young pirate to dinner, schedule the makeover appointment relatively close to your dining reservation. If you are hoping to visit a certain character while your little one is in their pirate gear, be sure to do that right after they get into costume in case they would like to change clothes later. Keep in mind that there are lockers available to rent at each park entrance if you need to store any clothing.
Reservations for the Pirates League and Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique are strongly recommended and can be made up to 180 days in advance.
Have a magical day!
Samantha
