Hello Sakina,
Thanks for stopping by to see us here at planDisney. It's great to see you're planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks!
Theme park tickets for the Walt Disney World Resort follow a date-based ticket pricing model. What this means is that the prices for theme park tickets will vary depending on the month, week, and day of the week for which you purchase tickets.
When you go to
purchase theme park tickets at Disneyworld.com, you will see the base price for a 1 Park Per Day theme park ticket for ages 10+. After you select the number of days you plan to visit, and select your ticket options such as the
Park Hopper Option, you'll see
a calendar prompting you to choose the day you will visit the theme parks. What you'll notice as you flip forward through the calendar is that the ticket prices will vary.
For example, you'll notice that weekday ticket prices are generally lower than weekend ticket prices. You'll also notice that ticket prices for popular times such as the Christmas holiday week are higher.
My best suggestion is to look through the ticket pricing calendar to see if you can line up your travel plans for when the ticket prices are lower and closer to the "starting from" price.
Another suggestion is to
watch for special offers that might feature theme park ticket promotions.
One more quick suggestion I'll offer is to c
onsider purchasing a Disney Gift Card (some member club stores sell gift cards at a discount) to pay for your theme park tickets. This is one way to see some savings when you buy the tickets.
Sakina, I hope this info is helpful as you plan your Walt Disney World Resort trip. You can
