Do the lockers at Disneyland resort Anaheim for an infant car seat since we are using a rideshare from the airport and our stroller is separate?

    Hi there, Dora,

It’s great that you are doing everything you can to make sure your little Mouseketeer is as safe as possible. So this is a terrific question. The answer depends on the specifics of your particular car seat.

Locker rentals at the Disneyland Resort are available at three locations outside the parks, one location in each of the two theme parks, and a bonus location adjacent to the Grizzly River Run attraction in Disney California Adventure Park. The lockers by Grizzly River Run are free for up to two hours. All of the other locations offer all-day rentals. For a one-time fee, the all-day lockers can be accessed as many times as needed throughout the day.

There are four sizes of lockers:

    • Standard (Width x Depth x Height: 11" x 18" x 14")
    • Large (14" x 18" x 17")
    • Extra Large (15" x 31" x 24")
    • Jumbo (19" x 31" x 24")

The Standard and Large sizes are available at the locations by the Guest Relations windows outside each theme park as well as the two all-day locations inside the parks. The only location that offers the Extra Large and Jumbo locker sizes is the picnic area outside of the theme parks. The picnic area is near the Guest Relations and Lost and Found location near the main entrance of Disneyland Park.

Because many car seats are somewhat on the large side, I suspect that the Extra Large or Likely the Jumbo lockers at the picnic area are going to be the best for you. Be sure to measure your car seat to make sure. And note that the door opening may be slightly smaller than the inside dimensions of the locker when you make your rental choice. The good thing about keeping a car seat in a locker is that the seat area not being occupied by its usual precious cargo can be used for other sundries and valuables that you may not wish to carry around the parks with you.

Tony’s Tip: You may wish to take advantage of the complimentary Baby Care Centers available in the Disneyland Resort theme parks. I find that they are a nice, quiet place to relax and recharge. Oh, and the baby can even find some peace and rest there too! They have great resources for diaper changing, feeding, and purchasing various necessities.

I hope you and your little one have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Dora!

    See ya real soon!
    ~Tony
