Hi there, Cindy!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question!
It sounds like you're in the planning stages of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation - how fun! There are so many things to consider - when to go, where to stay, what to do, and
where to eat! Here at planDisney, we're Guests, just like you, with lots of Disney vacations under our belts. We love to give tips and advice to help add a little extra magic to your Disney getaway.
When booking a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel room, you have lots of awesome options, and it's important to choose the resort room that best fits your travel party. When traveling with a large party, a
Deluxe Villa is a wonderful choice, and provides the comfort and space to accommodate larger families. A lock-off villa is a two-bedroom villa that combines a one-bedroom and a studio. The lock-off feature works like a connecting door to two adjoining rooms. In a lock-off villa, the one-bedroom and the studio each have their own separate entrance into the room from the hallway, where a dedicated two-bedroom villa would only have one entrance. The lock-off rooms can be booked separately or as one unit. In a lock-off room, the studio side features a Queen-size bed, pull-out couch, and a small kitchenette. In a dedicated two-bedroom, there is a larger kitchen area (no kitchenette), and the second bedroom has two Queen beds and no sofa bed.
I hope this helps answer your question! Please come back and visit us here as you continue to plan your vacation. I encourage you to follow
