Hey, howdy, hey, Valerie! Welcome back to planDisney, where we're always happy to see a returning guest!
Valerie, as a Disney Vacation Club Member whose "home" resort is
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, I'm thrilled to talk with you about this property. I love the option to
travel to Magic Kingdom Park by boat and
Whispering Canyon Cafe is a great choice if your family loves a rowdy dinner atmosphere! However... one of my favorite attributes of Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge is the relatively small size. For this mama, the size of this resort translates to convenience. Since you're pondering which location might be the best, I encourage you to think about what's most important for your family.
For example, my friend and
fellow panelist, Betsy, recently stayed on the ground floor of this resort and loved not needing to wait for an elevator. This is also a great location request if you have a stroller. Alternatively, since you have a 2-year-old, maybe you'll be needing more quiet than the ground floor offers. If this is the case, you may wish to request a room that offers less noise during nap times or evenings. When you complete the
Online Resort Check-in, the two room preferences in the drop down menu are "close to lobby" or "close to transportation." If another preference is desirable, you'll want to call in and ask to have the request noted on your reservation. If you are a Disney Vacation Club Member booking with your Membership, you'll
call Member Services. If you have booked as a cash guest, you'll want to
call the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line.
Valerie, I hope this helps as you're getting ready for your Magical vacation. If you have any other questions, you need only come back to planDisney where we love to help guests as much as Bullseye loves Woody.
