Ahoy, M!
It sounds like you're excited about making plans for your Disney Cruise vacation! Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel with your question.
Disney offers a wide range of Port Adventures at each port of call. These activities come at an additional cost, and you can book the excursions of your choice on Disney Cruise Line's official
website. You can search Port Adventures by type (Active, Family, Nature, Sightseeing/Flightseeing, Splashtacular, Teen), or by age range. You can also specify activity level (Active, Moderate or Mild).
First-time cruisers can make reservations for Port Adventures from three to seventy-five days prior to their sail date. Castaway Club members (repeat cruisers) can make their reservations at 90, 105, or 120 days out. Concierge guests can also book excursions at the 120-day mark. Once your cruise is paid in full and your reservation window opens, simply go to the DCL website, log in, and book the Port Adventures of your choice! Some excursions are quite popular and get booked quickly, so make sure to do your research ahead of time to know which are your favorites! You can find a list of Port Adventures and prices
here.
There's no need to pay up front - excursions booked in advance will be billed to your stateroom account once you're onboard!
I hope this helps with your planning and preparing for your Disney Cruise vacation. Have a magical day! - Diane W.
