Where do I locate my Magic Key pass ID?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Jeff! You’re as welcome as can be to planDisney!

First off, congratulations on becoming a Magic Key holder! I love being a part of the Magic Key family, and I know that you will, too! There are so many fun perks and discounts that come along with this special pass.

If you already have the Disneyland app downloaded, you should be able to locate your Magic Key Pass ID number by tapping on the icon with three lines together in the lower-right corner of the screen. Select “Tickets & Passes,” and your Magic Key should appear here, since it should be linked to the Disney account you purchased it with. The ID number is 18-digits long and located underneath the bar code on your Magic Key.

If your Magic Key isn’t linked here just yet, you can also search your email inbox for the confirmation email you received from your Magic Key purchase transaction. The email confirmation for my family’s Magic Key Passes had the words, “Disneyland Confirmation,” in the subject line, along with my order number. You can also search for this email by the email address it was sent from, “dlr.guest.mail@disneyonline.com.” Once you find the confirmation email, scroll down until you see a bright blue box with the words, “Access your eTickets.” Click on the hyperlinked blue box, which will open a new window which will read, “My Disneyland Tickets and Passes.” There, you should see your Magic Key with your name on it. Click on “Print E-Tickets” in the upper-right corner, which will lead you to a page showing your Magic Key Pass ID number and barcode.

Now that you have this information, you can go back to your Disneyland app and link your pass. Go back to “Tickets and Passes” and tap the “+” icon in the upper-right corner. Select “Link Tickets & Passes” and you can either scan your barcode with your phone's camera, or manually enter the number. Once you’ve found your Key, you can start making theme-park reservations and planning your magical year! If you need any additional help, you can also call the Magic Key Holders line at (714) 781-7277.

Be sure to make a reservation for a day in February if you can, Jeff! It’s “Magic Key Holder Celebration Month” at the Happiest Place on Earth, and you won’t want to miss a minute of the magic! This month-long event offers Magic Key holders special Magic Shots, limited-edition giveaways, and special food and beverage offerings. I hope you get to enjoy it soon!

Wishing you a magical, pixie-dusted year ahead, Jeff!

Meet the Panelist: Kristin, California

Greetings from sunny California! I live less than an hour from the Disneyland Resort, and have been an Annual Passholder (and now a Magic Key Passholder) for more than 20 years! As a mom of three kids ages 5-10, I consider myself an expert at navigating the Disneyland Resort with little ones. My family of five can’t get enough of the magic and happiness we encounter every time we step foot on Main Street, U.S.A. I look forward to sprinkling pixie dust on your next visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! Learn More About Kristin
