Star from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hi, locals but fam are visiting, hubby’s only request is to ride Star Wars: Resistance & to build a light saber. What do we need to do to get reservations to do these things. We are willing to book rooms.

Bright suns, Star! Welcome to planDisney.

It looks like you're interested in chartering an intergalactic flight to Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Impressive. Most impressive. If your husband is interested in joining the battle against the First Order, a handbuilt lightsaber will serve him well. I've spoken to some of my contacts and they've given me the green light to share this sensitive information with you. You're going to want to make a reservation for Savi's Workshop on the day of your visit. However, please keep the location secret. Stormtroopers sometimes patrol the planet of Batuu and they'd love nothing more than to prevent the creation of more lightsabers. Since he'll officially be a Jedi in training, your husband will be allowed to bring one Guest with him to Savi's Workshop. This experience is part of the Enchanting Extras Collection and can be booked up to 60 days in advance. Star, please be aware that you'll need valid admission and park registration for Disney's Hollywood Studios on the same day as your reservation.

Either before or after you visit Savi's Workshop, your services are required in Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. Since wait times for this attraction can get long, I'd suggest arriving at Batuu as close to park opening as possible. You could also purchase an Individual Lightning Lane entrance if you wanted lightspeed access to this ride.

I'm sure your husband would like to ride the Millenium Falcon, right? If so, then there's a mission we'd like him to embark on. Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run is an interactive adventure that will allow him to test his skills as a pilot, engineer, or gunner.

As you trek through Batuu, don't allow hunger pains to turn you to the Dark Side. A delicious trip to Ronto Roasters or Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo will help keep the Force strong. If you'd like to quench your thirst, then a visit to the Milk Stand for some of that famous blue milk wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Star, you don't need to stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel to enjoy any of these experiences. You're welcome to simply enjoy a magical day out as a family. Walt Disney World has plenty of parking for those who are staying off property. Having said that, there truly is nothing like staying at a Disney Resort. With their detailed theming, unique storytelling, and second-to-none customer service, they really immerse you in the magic. The benefits of staying on property serve to sprinkle even more pixie dust on your trip. Every Guest staying at a Disney Resort can take advantage of early Theme Park entry. This 30-minute head start enables you to ride some of the more popular attractions before crowds get busy. Guests staying at Disney Deluxe Resort Hotels or Disney Deluxe Villas can enjoy the extra benefit of extended evening hours in select Theme Parks on select nights. So it's worth considering if you'd like to maximize the magic of your trip.

    Till the Spires, Star!
