Have a local school that wants to bring their band kids to Disney/Hollywood studios in May 2027. Do you have group rates? We would need a hotel that has a restaurant on site. We would like to have a package with free breakfast. about 60 kids / 20 adults

    Welcome to planDisney, Clay!

Oh, there is nothing like watching our kids and their school friends tour Walt Disney World together!

When my son's high school choir booked a trip to Walt Disney World, Disney Imagination Campus put together a fantastic package for one and all. I chaperoned that trip and can attest to the extra magic Disney added to our experience. Not only did the choirs get to perform onstage at Disney Springs, they also attended a vocal workshop that was a highlight of their trip. Learning from professional performers in the place where it happens? Truly magical.

I'm a high school teacher, Clay, and have chaperoned over a dozen senior class trips to WDW, so can also attest to great visits where performances are not part of the mix. Also magical! We use a travel agent to book everything for those trips: hotels, flights, discounted youth theme park tickets, even after-hours dinner dances in the parks! For more information about Disney Imagination Campus bookings for youth groups, you can either fill out the form on the link provided above or give them a call at the number listed there. Cast Members are always ready to help pixie-dust the details for your group visit.

For our large group stay (over 300 students), we love to stay at one of the Disney All-Star Resorts. These resorts feature outstanding food courts with plenty of seating for your group to gather at any time of day. Complimentary transportation to and from the parks and Disney Springs means that you can start your day at breakfast together then either head out to the parks together or send the kids off for a bit of exploring on their own.

Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, for example, features World Premier Food Court where one and all can start the day off right with Mickey-Shaped Waffles or a delicious Egg and Cheese Bagel Sandwich. You'll see many school groups--some dressed in their best for performances, others in their matching trip T-shirts for a group photo--at the food courts each morning, checking in with each other before the start of another incredible day. Just a few steps away is Donald's Double Feature gift shop, so right after a breakfast meeting, you can pop into the shop for some last-minute sunscreen or the perfect set of Mickey Ears, then just a few steps further to hop onto the complimentary Walt Disney World Bus Service.

After a day filled with park hopping, our kids like to get their game on at Reel Fun Arcade, cool off at Fantasia Pool, and even order a pizza from the food court. It's the perfect resort for school groups!

Clay, I would not hesitate booking a school trip that includes a stay at any of the All-Star Resorts. Both Disney's All-Star Music Resort and Disney's All-Star Sports Resort offer similar recreation, dining, and amenities as All-Star Movies, so any of these three would be the perfect place to call home during your visit.

As you look at all of your options for a school band trip to Walt Disney World, Clay, be sure to send additional questions our way. We love to help!
