At our local Disney store they have changed over to reusable bags as part of an effort to "go green". I am wondering if I need to pack a couple of our reusable bags for shopping while we are in the parks?

Hi Jene and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm always excited to see a question from a fellow North Carolinian!

I was so excited when the Disney Store announced they would be phasing out the use of plastic bags in all of their stores. I have so many reusable bags. I just have to remember to take the bags into the store with me!

As of today, Disney Parks has not made any announcements about plastic bag use in the parks. We do "keep moving forward" so be sure to check back closer to your vacation to be sure. At this time there is no need to add reusable bags to your packing list unless you choose to do so.

Please let us know if we can help you with any other questions!
    Wishing you a magical vacation,
