    Can I load money onto my children's magic bands for them to make purchases with, without them having full access to the credit card that is linked to our account. The kids are 13 & 15, so could possibly have free time away from us. Thanks.

    What a great question! MagicBands and MyMagic+ are revolutionizing the ease and convenience of a Walt Disney World vacation, but they are still so new, there are many tips and tricks we are just learning about them. 

    One of my favorite features is adding charging privileges to your MagicBands.  (Charging privileges are only available to Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort.)  When we visited last spring, I was pleased to find out that not only could we allow my 10-year-old to charge with his MagicBand, but that we could also set a spending limit for him and even assign a unique PIN code for just his MagicBand.  I felt much more relaxed knowing he could have a little freedom, but that he couldn't go crazy. Just let the Cast Member at check-in know you would like to set up your teens MagicBands this way and they will be happy to assist you in doing so.
