Hiya Amanda! Welcome to planDisney!
Oh boy! What a way to start the new year! A visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth sounds like the perfect idea! I'm excited that you'll be arriving just in time to take part in the
50th Anniversary Celebration that extends to the end of March 2023. Make sure to check out Disney Enchantment and Harmonious at both the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT during your stay. Both of these shows are set to come to an end when the celebration concludes, so it may be your only time to see them in person!
Purchasing
Disney Gift Cards is the perfect way to start budgeting for your stay prior to your arrival. I usually start buying them in advance so I'm able to have most of my in-park expenses accounted for before travel. To answer your question, you can easily load your e-gift card into your Apple wallet in a matter of moments. Using your mobile device, access your email account and open up the email you received when purchasing your Disney Gift Card. Scroll to the bottom of the email and you will see an option to "Add to Apple Wallet". Tap on that selection to add it to your wallet.
I recently returned from a trip where I used this feature for the first time. I had three
Disney Gift Cards that I had saved in my Apple Wallet and it helped me stay organized each day. I was able to remove each one once it was used up so I did not get confused when using them for payment. It made it much easier than having to find the confirmation email each time.
Amanda, I hope this information helps you during your upcoming visit. Remember, you can use Disney Gift Cards at many dining and merchandise locations all around the
Walt Disney World Resort! They are also the perfect gift-giving idea, so if you have anyone asking you what you want for Christmas this year, you know what to tell them!
See ya real soon!
