Can I load cash into our magic bands prior to our trip if we are not staying on the property?

Hello Samantha and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your magical vacation is just days away and I am so excited that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort very soon.

Your MagicBands can be linked to your My Disney Experience accounts to access your admission tickets, FastPass+ reservations and allow Disney PhotoPass photographers to add photos to your Memory Maker account.

Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel have the privilege of linking a credit or debit card to their MagicBand. This would be set up during the check-in process and require a PIN to charge merchandise or food to their room during the length of their stay. A guest’s credit card would be pre-authorized and held on their account until check out. Unfortunately, theme park visitors who are staying off property are unable to take advantage of using their MagicBands for purchases. You could purchase Disney Gift Cards in advance to use during the duration of your trip. Disney Gift Cards are accepted anywhere in Walt Disney World where debit and credit cards are excepted.

    See ya real soon,
