hi all. if i load cash at check in to my kttw card and dont use it all will i get the unused credit back at check out and how? also we will have 7 disney days left (spliting hols 7 nths disney 14 nths i-drive) how will i be given these days to use?

    Hi Nicola,

Because you are only staying at a Disney Resort for 7 days and switching to another resort, your park tickets will most likely be separate from your Key to the World Card.  They'll be paper tickets that you'll receive when you check in, good for 14 days.

Your Key to the World card will be used as your resort room key.  You can give the cast member at the check-in counter cash to apply to your Key to the World card.  They may ask for a credit card as well, but they won't charge anything to it as long as you have enough cash in your account.  It's a good idea to check every couple of days to make sure your balance is correct.  At the end of your stay, they will refund any unused money.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
