Hi, Neha! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Character dining is so much fun that I usually plan one character dining meal whenever I visit with my daughter. I love watching her pop up from her chair with glee to give characters big hugs when they come around to our table. At the Disneyland Resort, there are three character dining options outside of the theme parks located in the Disneyland Resort Hotels. You don’t need a theme park ticket or need to be a hotel Guest to dine at these Hotel restaurants. You will still need to pay for your little one’s meal, however, since she is over two years old. My favorite character meal outside of the parks is dinner at Goofy’s Kitchen. Not only is it the sole character dining option for dinner, but I find the buffet to be incredibly varied and delicious. The dessert options are out of this world!
Your daughter will also need a
theme park ticket to enjoy Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. If you plan on visiting the parks, you might try my other favorite character meal,
Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park at the Plaza Inn. While I love the food here also, it’s the amazing character interactions that keep us coming back. Each time I have dined here for breakfast, we have met at least 10 different characters! And some of them were characters that you rarely meet otherwise in the parks. It is always a ton of fun!
If you have any other questions about character dining or any other element of your trip, please stop by again!
