Hi! We"ll be staying at the Dolphin hotel during the WDW Marathon Weekend and participating in the 5k race. Will we be able to walk to the starting gate from the hotel or must we take a shuttle? Thanks for your time!

Hi Angela!

Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You won't be able to walk to the starting area on race morning from the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel because Epcot won't be open yet for you to walk through.

But no worries! There will be complimentary runDisney bus transportation to and from each event that picks you up right in front of the resort. It's actually a very convenient way to get there. I enjoy sitting and relaxing on the bus ride over before each race!

Since Epcot won't be open after the 5K either, you will want to catch a bus back to the resort.
