Hiya, Regan! Welcome to planDisney. I am so glad you stopped by to talk about all the whoozits and whatzits galore that make the Lightning Lane Multi Pass a trove of treasures.
As a Guest at a
Disney Resorts Collection, you can purchase a
Lightning Lane Multi Pass seven days before you check into your hotel. Passes are purchased by the day, so you can buy one for any or every day of your trip (for up to a 14-day stay). On a family vacation earlier this month, we chose to buy a pass for two of four days in the theme parks, making sure we could race through the lines for some of our favorite attractions.
At 7 am on the day you are eligible, open the
My Disney Experience app and select "Purchase" on the Lightning Lane tile at the top of the screen. You will be able to select the date you want the pass, the theme park and the eligible Guests in your group you would like to include. With a Multi Pass, you will select three attractions to enjoy that day. The available attractions in
Magic Kingdom Park,
EPCOT and
Disney's Hollywood Studios are divided into two groups. You can pick one from the first group and two (or all three) from the other. The app will show you the three selections and arrival windows. I like that you can see this before completing the purchase. You can modify the times based on availability if you would like. Once you confirm the selections, follow the prompts to make your purchase. You will be given the option to add other days to your purchase before checking out.
And when you arrive at
Walt Disney World Resort, it's time to enjoy the gadgets and gizmos aplenty! When you scan into your first Lightning Lane, the app will tell you it's time to make another selection. You can choose any available attraction. And, if your theme park admission has the
Park Hopper option, this includes experiences in any theme park.
So you can buy a Lightning Lane Multi Pass and up to two Lightning Lane Single Passes each day you have a theme park ticket. With the Multi Pass, you get three experiences per day that you select before you arrive. Once in the theme parks, you can make additional choices after tapping into your first Multi Pass experience.
I hope this helps, Regan. If you have any other questions, please come back by
planDisney. We love being a part of your world!
