I've been living in China. What kind of proof of residency do I need to provide? I have been in China for 3 years, but I have car registration, bank mail, and also my passport. I'm a California resident, but just no ID right now.

Ni hao, Daniel, and welcome to planDisney!

You must be so excited to return home to the Happiest Place on Earth next month. During the initial phase of reopening, as per guidance from the State of California, only residents of the Golden State are permitted to enter the Disneyland Resort theme parks. Additionally, all visitors must secure theme park reservations in advance, and to access the reservation system, you must be logged into a Disneyland account associated with a California address. You will also be asked to confirm that you reside in California, and proof of residency may be requested upon arrival at the theme parks. Just to be on the safe side, I'd bring several items that affirm residency status to assure entry.

Once you have purchased tickets, made theme park reservations, and gotten the necessary documents in order, you're ready to return to a land of magic! Before you know it you'll be walking right down the middle of Main Street U.S.A. Be sure to review the experience updates page and download the Disneyland Mobile App so you can order those Ronto Wraps and Blue Milk from the palm of your hand en route to a galaxy far, far away

I hope this is helpful, Daniel. Best wishes for a safe journey back home, and we'll see ya real soon!

Greetings! I'm Betsy, a middle school teacher, wife, and mom of two. My family and I love to travel the world, but our best memories are those made when we're visiting Walt Disney World or Disneyland Resort. No matter how many times we visit, there is always something new to see, ride, or eat at the Disney Parks. Learn More About Betsy
