I live in Washington, will I not be able to make monthly payments on a magic key pass?

    Greetings, Shandiin!

Welcome to planDisney. I’m glad you stopped by to ask us a question about Disneyland Resort Magic Key passes. As you’re probably already aware, Magic Key sales will resume on November 6!

The monthly payment plan option is currently only available to California residents with a valid, government-issued ID and a credit card with a California billing address. Unfortunately, residents of other states are not able to pay in monthly installments and must pay the total pass cost up front.

I’m sorry if this is less-than-magical news, Shandiin. However, keep in mind that you can pay with a Disney Gift Card, a credit/debit card, or a combination of the two. Certain retail stores and warehouse clubs even offer Disney Gift Card deals from time to time that you can then use to pay for your Magic Key. A maximum of $1,000 in gift card funds per transaction can be used as a method of payment when purchasing passes online. For more information, please check out the Magic Key Buying Guide prior to making your purchase.

I hope this helps you, Shandiin, and that you’re able to become a Magic Key holder soon! Please don’t hesitate to write back with more questions about The Happiest Place on Earth.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
