    We live in the UK and are planing to go to Disney World in September this year. We are taking our two daughters aged 4 and 15 months. Our 4 year old is Autistic,we are worried about the queues and crowds. Any advice about queues and autistic kids. thanks

    Hi Marian!

    We have similar issues in our house as well.  Crowds, noise, and queues are an issue for us--in order to make our trip more pleasant, we ask for a Guest Assistance Card (GAC).  They can be obtained at Guest Relations at any of the theme parks, and have been a life saver for us in many situations. 

    The GAC provides access to a less crowded queueing area, which is exactly what we needed.  We also travel with ear muffs (ours are made by Banz) to help block out unwanted noises, (fireworks, etc). 

    We also know that any minute our plans could change because of a meltdown or outburst, and we often find ourselves in 'quiet corners' of the park for a quick cool down.
