Sydney from CA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

If I live in southern California for college and live on campus can I use a student ID, or other school paperwork for proof of residency since my government ID has the location of my hometown instead?

    Hi Sydney,

I’m so excited for you to be planning an upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth!

If you are interested in the Southern California Resident Weekday Ticket Offer or the Imagine Magic Key, you must provide proof of Southern California residency. Although a Student Photo ID can be used to confirm your identity, it cannot be used alone to provide confirmation of your SoCal residence. I recommend you also bring something like a utility bill with your legal name and address on it that can provide proof you live in Southern California.

And if you are opting to purchase the Imagine Magic Key, don’t forget that Imagine Magic Key holders get to enjoy a 10% discount on select merchandise and dining throughout the resort – a pretty magical perk if you ask me.

Have a wonderful time, and please come back to planDisney with more of your questions!

    Best wishes,
    Lola
