Hello there, Esmeralda!
Welcome to planDisney! I can't think of a better gift to give than a magical day at the Disneyland Resort, I think this idea puts you up there with the Fairy Godmother!
While gifting
Disneyland Park Tickets is certainly allowed (and awesome!) I'm afraid that any tickets specifically for Southern California residents typically require proof of residency in the form of a government-issued ID to enter the park. So, I don't recommend purchasing resident tickets as gifts.
That doesn't mean you can't give your family members a pixie-dusted gift! You are welcome to purchase regular park tickets as gifts. My personal preference is to give
Disney Gift Cards because then your lucky friend or family member can use the gift card to purchase a ticket when they're ready! It's especially fun to pick a design that includes favorite characters for your recipient. Disney Gift Cards can also be used while you're visiting the parks, so if there's money left over from purchasing tickets you can use it for a
Dole Whip at the Tiki Juice Bar! I hope this information hasn't put a damper on your generous spirit, Esmeralda, and that you'll be visiting the parks real soon!
Keep moving forward!
Amanda
