    We live in South Africa and are visiting this year Dec and 2012 Jan. I want to buy tickets online. Will this be sent via Fedex to South Africa and are these insured? If they go missing and I have the confirmation can I get tickets at the gate?

    Hi Janine,

    Yes, all international deliveries are made by FedEx.

    Whenever I have received documents from Disney via FedEx in the past, I have always had to sign for the package upon its arrival which provides a proof of delivery.

    If for some reason you did not receive the tickets, it would be clear that you had not signed for them and replacements would be issued at no additional cost.

    I am pretty confident that there won't be any issues with you receiving your park tickets in South Africa within 14 days from the date that your order is placed online.

    If however you are still worried about this, then I would suggest that you select the Will Call option and collect your tickets from any of the ticket sales locations at one of the Walt Disney World Theme Parks on your arrival. (This will also save you $25 as this delivery option is free of charge)
