Hiya, Bill! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney, the most magical corner of the Internet! I totally understand wanting some assistance when planning a trip to
Walt Disney World Resort - there is so much to see and do that it can be overwhelming figuring out where to start! I'm happy to share how planDisney can help and offer some other suggestions to get your planning off on the right foot. Let's get right to it!
Our crew at planDisney are all real, live people who love visiting Disney destinations and have tons of experience navigating the ins and outs of the planning process. If you use the search function on the site, you can find tips about
Disney Collection Hotels,
park tickets,
Disney Dining Plans - really anything you can think of! While we, unfortunately, can't speak to Guests live, you can always send a personal question to any panelist and they will give you a thoughtful answer based on their own experience and some extra research when needed!
If you're hoping to find someone who can do the lion's share of your vacation planning, I definitely recommend working with an Authorized Disney Travel Planner. These are travel professionals who are experts in booking a practically perfect trip - and best of all, their services won't cost you a thing! Authorized Planners work on commission and can do as much or as little of the planning as you like. Someone in your circle likely knows someone that they can recommend, or you can find many with an active social media presence.
Bill, if you want to take the reins yourself, I would start by thinking about what is most important to you for this vacation. Are you planning to be in the theme parks from open to close every day? Hoping for a relaxed trip with plenty of time at the pool or on the golf course? Figuring out those vacation goals will help you choose a Resort Hotel that's a good fit for your group. There are hotels for every budget, so you can select something that meets your needs for price and location!
You can easily create a vacation package on the Walt Disney World website and bundle your hotel reservation with tickets based on how many days you plan to visit the theme parks. In 2025, Guests of Disney Resort Hotels also enjoy free
water park admission on their check-in day!
One date to keep in mind as you're planning for a February trip - you can begin booking
dining reservations and
Enchanting Extras (think tours and other magical experiences!) beginning 60 days before your arrival. That is coming up soon, so be sure to mark your calendar! If you decide to use a travel planner, they can make these reservations for you.
I hope this information is helpful for your planning purposes, Bill! It's been a pleasure - please don't hesitate to come back anytime if our planDisney squad can help with additional questions!
See Ya Real Soon!
