If you are using the
My Disney Experience app, you can complete the online check-in process right on your device. When you do this there will be a section with a drop down menu that will allow you to choose some room preferences and options from a pre-populated list. If you would like to make a more specific request, I'd recommend using the Chat feature on the Walt Disney World Resort website to get in touch with a Cast Member or
emailing your request to Guest Services and asking to have it connected to your room reservation. Please keep in mind that room requests are not guaranteed, and Cast Members will do their best to accommodate you.
Now let's talk about your special event. You can also let Guest Services know about this in your room request email, and there are some additional steps you can take to ensure your event celebration is extra magical. For an in-room surprise, check out
Magical Floral & Gifts. This service will allow you to purchase snacks, gifts, flowers, and balloons and have them waiting in your room when you arrive. These offerings can be themed for a first visit, a birthday, a romantic getaway, or for an everyday celebration!
Also, don't forget to pick up a celebration button from the front desk of your resort hotel! These are a way to show everyone around you that you're celebrating something special, whether it be your first visit, your happily ever after, a birthday, or another milestone or achievement in your life.
