We live just outside Orlando. Can we visit the Beaches and Cream Soda Shop and park at the resort? Is there a cost for that? I only see reservations for the soda shop in the evening. Do we not need a reservation if visiting during the daytime?

    Hello there, Heather!

Welcome to planDisney and thanks for dropping by with a wonderful question about visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. It looks like you're hoping to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a short couple of days - how exciting! Oh, what I'd give to live near the Walt Disney World Resort and be able to pop over for a quick bite at one of the fabulous Disney Resort hotels. I'm happy to help you understand how to do just that, Heather!

Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, located at Disney's Beach Club Resort, is the perfect pit stop for any sweet tooth looking for a treat with a dash of fun. At this time, parking at the Disney Resort hotels is restricted to Guests with valid dining reservations, Enchanted Extras Collection bookings, or Resort hotel reservations. Therefore, in order to park a personal vehicle at Disney's Beach Club Resort to enjoy a meal at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, you'll need a confirmed dining reservation. If you're not currently seeing availability for the day you'd like to visit, I encourage you to keep checking back periodically, as additional reservations may pop up as plans change and cancelations occur.

Heather, are you a Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passholder? Annual Passholders enjoy complimentary standard theme park parking on days their passes are eligible for use. Therefore, if you have an Annual Pass, you could use it to park at and visit EPCOT, popping over to Disney's Beach Club Resort for dessert that evening! As another option, you could utilize a rideshare service to be dropped off at Disney's Beach Club Resort and attempt to join the walk-up list using the My Disney Experience mobile app when you arrive at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop.

I hope you've found these suggestions helpful, Heather. I'm keeping my fingers crossed you'll be enjoying a Kitchen Sink sundae very soon! If you have any additional questions about visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, you're always welcome to stop back by planDisney again. We're all ears!

    See ya real soon,

    Lauren
