Hi Patricia,
Spending an afternoon at
The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort sure sounds likely a lovely idea! It's so beautiful and peaceful there. I'm guessing you'll be enjoying brunch at
Trail's End Restaurant? Mmm...my family loved dining there! Their fried chicken is amazing, and being able to enjoy that at the
same time you're feasting on Mickey Waffles? That's darn close to some Disney dining perfection, in my humble opinion!
I'm happy to let you know that Guests are entitled to up to three hours of complimentary
parking when visiting
any Disney Resort hotel for dining reservations, shopping, or touring. You should be fine to leave your vehicle for your lunch and hayride. Just tell the Cast Member when you arrive that you're there for brunch and a hayride and he or she will show you where to park near the Outpost Depot. Now, this does happen to be a rather large Resort, so you'll need to use an internal shuttle to get from the parking lot to the Settlement Depot where you'll find Pioneer Hall, the home of Trail's End Restaurant. There are three colors of internal buses, and any of the lines will work, so feel free to take the first one that arrives.
Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Patricia, and please let us know if you have any other questions as you're planning. I hope that you have a truly magical...and delicious...visit to The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort!
