I live in Ohio but plan on taking my nephew to Disney World and he is a Florida resident (11 years old). Can I buy him a Florida resident ticket and my family the non-resident tickets?

    Hey Paul!

If your nephew has any type of Florida identification, like a school or library ID, I would bring it with you and present it when you purchase tickets.  Children aren't required to show identification when purchasing Florida Resident tickets, but that is usually because the accompanying adult provides the necessary paperwork.  However, if you're able to present an ID for the child, showing FL as his state of residency, you should be able to purchase your nephew the Florida Resident ticket while the rest of your family purchases the non-discounted tickets.  That being said, budget for a standard ticket just in case you aren't able to make it work.

I would plan to make your purchase at a Guest Relations window and not a standard ticketing window.  I have always had more luck with "complicated" transactions at the Guest Relations windows as a manager is readily available.

    Have a magical day,
