Hey there, ahoy there Kyle, and welcome back to planDisney. Finding different ports to sail out of on Disney Cruise Line means more adventures and the fact that Florida currently has two ports Disney sails out of opens up so much opportunity.
As of now, Disney does not appear to offer
ground transportation from any Walt Disney World Resort location to
Ft. Lauderdale's Port Everglades Terminal. Also, there is no long-term parking at
Disney Resorts Collection Hotels because parking is specifically reserved for current hotel Guests. The best means of transportation between Orlando to Ft. Lauderdale round trip are: take an inexpensive flight with an arranged paid transport from Ft. Lauderdale airport; driving and parking yourself at the port which is roughly 3.5 hours from Orlando (this offers the most flexibility); a one-way rental in both directions will save you any parking fees and wear and tear on your car. You should price all the options and consider the value of your time. I also recommend contacting Disney Cruise Line either by
phone or
email for suggestions on getting you from Orlando to Ft. Lauderdale.
Kyle, I hope this information helps you decide how to get to Ft. Lauderdale. Please feel free to
write me back directly with any follow-up questions as you continue your Disney cruise planning.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories on the High Seas.
