I live in Georgia and would like to purchase an annual for my daugher who lives in Florida. She has the appropriate proof of Fl residency. Can I pay for her ticket using my credit card and still get the 'monthly payment' option?

    Hi there, Eve!

That is a lovely gift, and I know your daughter will get loads of use from it!

At this time, Disney requires that the purchaser of the monthly contract has proof of Florida residency. The official language on the Web site: "The Monthly Payment program is currently only available to Florida residents for the purchase of select Florida Resident Passes. The contract purchaser must be able to provide valid proof of Florida Residency and be at least 18 years of age." Thus, while your daughter would be able to receive and use the Pass as a gift, you would not be eligible for the Resident monthly payment option.

First-time Pass purchasers using the Florida Resident option are required to show one of a variety of forms of Florida identification, including, but not limited to, a State-issued photo ID, a mortgage statement, a homeowner's insurance statement, or a utility bill in your name. The list may be found int is entirety on the Web site. And you would be required to purchase your first Florida Resident Pass in person in order to supply one of those forms of identification.

What a wonderful gift idea; I know you and your daughter will find a way to make your own magic happen!

    See you later, celebrator,
