Hi Leah! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm sure one of the perks of being a Georgia resident is the fairly close proximity to the
Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. I live just a state away in South Carolina and we love the ease of traveling by either car or plane to Walt Disney World. Having family on the West Coast is a great excuse to visit the Disneyland Resort over the years. While there are similarities to each one, there are plenty of things that make each coast's parks incredibly unique. This includes some attractions and experiences that you can only find at each one!
The Disney Premier Passport was available for purchase in years past. It allowed you access to both Walt Disney World and Disneyland throughout the year. When annual pass sales were halted a few years back, the Disney Premier Passport also went away at this time as well. Unfortunately, it has not returned with the new Annual Pass sales and there is no plan for the near future. This can potentially change as time goes on and I suggest following along to the
Disney Parks Blog for any news and announcements. Disney's CEO did recently address the Disney Premier Passport, and he stated at this time that there is no plan to bring it back.
The Walt Disney World Resort did bring back annual passes a couple of months ago. The
Disney Incredi-Pass is available to all Guests. There are no blockout dates associated with this pass, so you can visit any day of the year that you want! It also comes with a host of perks and benefits, including great discounts on dining and merchandise purchases.
Leah, I hope you get a chance to visit both Walt Disney World and Disneyland in the near future!
Have a magical day!
Greg
