Welcome to planDisney, Madeline!
I am delighted to hear that you are planning a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. It is the merriest time of year to visit. The
holiday season has kicked off at Walt Disney World Resort, and there is no shortage of ways to celebrate. But before you can start enjoying the festivities, you'll need to get those theme park tickets. Here's all you need to know about securing your tickets, and other important steps to take before you arrive for the best day ever.
You can
purchase tickets online and in person. If you wish to make your purchase in person, you can do so at the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs and the theme park ticket windows. However, purchasing at the theme park ticket window may not be the ideal option if you are planning to visit on that day. Currently, all four theme parks require a
Disney Park Pass reservation in addition to a valid theme park ticket. Some dates may offer limited availability due to popularity. This could mean you arrive to buy tickets at a sold-out park, resulting in major disappointment. I personally recommend the Disney Springs option. This way you are able to get tickets in advance, without heading all the way to the parks without a reservation. Once you have your tickets you can easily link them to your
My Disney Experience account and make your Park Pass reservations. You can also
check out theme park availability online before heading to your destination to make your purchase.
Should you decide you prefer the convenience of an online purchase, you can price out and
purchase tickets in a few easy steps. You may even qualify for
special Florida Resident offers! Your residency can be verified online through the website, and tickets will be ready to use when you arrive at the parks.
I hope your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
We'll see ya real soon!
