Hi. We now live in Florida and plan on getting Florida resident annual passes in a couple of weeks . Do we still receive magic bands with the Florida resident passes? thank you so very much.

    Howdy Laura!

Being a resident of the Sunshine State sure does have its perks; sunny weather, beautiful beaches and fabulous discounts on Walt Disney World tickests and Annual Passes.   I am so glad you have decided to make a year of magical memories with your family.

Once you link your Annual Pass and use it to enter a theme park for the first time, an option on your My Disney Experience account will appear asking you to customize a MagicBand for your Annual Pass.   You will not have it for the first time you access a park, but you can customize it and have it mailed as soon as you do.

I don't want you to fret, once your Annual Pass is linked using the confirmation number you can make Disney FastPass+ selections before you even arrive at the parks.   Laura, also any previous MagicBand you have from a past trip can be reused if it is still showing active in your My Disney Experience account.   I often change mine daily depending on the mood I am in.

I hope this has helped.   Enjoy your year full of fun.   Please visit us again with any other questions you may have.
