I live in Florida for 6 months and 6 months in Michigan. My drivers license is from Michigan. Are there any options for cheaper tickets and or hotels for me

    Hi Edward!

Thanks for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You can definitely benefit from the Florida Resident Discounts for tickets and hotels if you live part-time in Florida ! All you would need to do is provide proof of ownership.

For each ticket or pass purchased for an adult, you may provide any of the following: valid Florida driver’s license (must have a Florida address); valid Florida state-issued ID card (must have a Florida address); or a valid Florida-based military ID. If you have any of the these ID cards, you can verify residency online instead of having to stop at Guest Relations when you visit the parks. In order to do this, you have to fill out the “Your Florida Resident Information” form after you purchase Florida Resident tickets through the Walt Disney World Website or complete the “Customize Your Tickets” step when you purchase through the My Disney Experience app

If you do not have one of the IDs indicated above, then you must provide one of the following—dated within the past 2 months—evidencing a Florida residential address, along with a corresponding picture ID (passport, driver's license, state identification card):

*You may use a monthly mortgage statement from within the past 2 months; it may not be more than 2 months old. Deeds, mortgage contracts, mortgage payment booklets and leases are not accepted.
*Current homeowner's insurance policy or bill
*Current automobile registration, insurance policy or bill
*Current Utility bill (power / phone / cable / water)
*Bills can be no more than 2 months old (P.O. Boxes are not accepted as proof of residency)
*Mail from financial institutions, including checking, savings or investment account statements
*Mail from federal, state, county or city government agencies
*Mail can be no more than 2 months old (P.O. Boxes are not accepted as proof of residency)

Did you know? As a Florida Resident you have many special offers available to you! For more information, please visit this page: Florida Resident Special Offers.

I hope you find this information helpful. It has been a pleasure assisting you Edward! Please feel free to send me any other questions you may have!
