Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Scott. I'm so glad you stopped by! It looks like your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is just around the corner. How exciting! I'm sure you're counting down the hours at this point.
When my family visits the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, I always pack a cooler with snacks and beverages. As a mom of three, the last thing I need on my hands is a hangry kid! You're most certainly welcome to bring in whatever food and drinks keep your kiddos (and grown-ups!) happy. There are just a few relevant
rules to make sure you follow. Loose ice is not permitted, so you'll need to pack reusable ice packs or bagged ice to keep your cooler items nice and cold. Alcoholic beverages and glass containers are prohibited, so be sure that those types of items are not in your cooler. Additionally, your cooler can be no larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18' high. Otherwise, you'll be set to go!
If your
kiddos are little, a stroller will be a must-have. Exploring the theme parks requires a lot of walking and little legs tire quickly!
Single and double strollers are available to rent from all four theme parks and Disney Springs. You can also
bring a stroller from home so long as it's no larger than 31" in width and 52" in length.
I hope this was helpful, Scott. I'm wishing you and your family a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!
Ashley
