Hiya, pal! Thanks so much for visiting planDisney. I love that you're getting into the holiday spirit - in my book, there's no better place to celebrate than
Walt Disney World Resort! It's great that you'll be spending the holidays with some of your nearest and dearest, and I'm happy to assist with your ticket question.
How very thoughtful of you to want to purchase
tickets for your out-of-state relatives so they can enjoy The Most Magical Place on Earth all decked out for Christmas! Unfortunately, Guests 18 and older using Florida Resident tickets must show proof of residency before the tickets can be used. This means they will need to purchase standard theme park tickets, either as part of a vacation package or separately. The
Special Offers section of the Walt Disney World website is a great place to check for any current deals or discounts that your family may be able to use during their visit!
To save some money on tickets, I recommend checking your local warehouse club or motor club to see if they offer discounted options. Another strategy is to purchase
Disney Gift Cards from a discount department store - I use a store card to receive a discount on the gift cards and combine them over time to put toward our next Disney adventure.
Don't forget that you can still enjoy the holidays at Walt Disney World beyond the theme parks! The
Resort Hotels come alive with amazing trees and themed decor, and you can check out the gingerbread displays featured at many hotels. You could make a dining reservation at one of the resort hotels and make a night of it!
Disney Springs is also a great spot for some festive fun - and to finish up any last-minute shopping!
I'm sorry this wasn't perhaps the answer you were looking for, but hopefully, your family will be able to enjoy some Disney magic during the holidays! Thanks again for stopping by planDisney, and please reach out again anytime if we can help with any other questions you may have.
See Ya Real Soon!
Susan
