Hi, I live in England, and have never been to Disneyworld but myself and my husband are desperate to take our two children (1 and 3) but to be honest I am completely staggered by how much it is going to cost (estimate £6,000) any tips on budgeting ple

    Hi Rebecca,

As my family also travel to Walt Disney Word from the UK, I completely understand where you are coming from.

We have noticed that the cost of flights in particular have almost doubled over the past couple of years.

Flights aside, here are my top tips on how to keep costs down as much as possible:-

1/ Check the UK Walt Disney World website HERE for Special Offers
2/ Avoid visiting during the UK & USA school holidays and instead travel during Value Season when room rates are at their lowest (usually January, February, August & September)
3/ Look at booking your stay at a Value Resort Hotel which are big on fun but small on cost.
4/ Take advantage of the Disney Dining Plan and save up to 40% off the cost of meals purchased individually. If you are able to travel during dates that Free Dining is offered, I would highly recommend that you do as this is an incredible offer and you would not believe just how much money you will save.
5/ Be on the look out for ticket offers. You can currently purchase a 14 Day Ultimate Ticket for the price of a 7 Day Premium Ticket.

I hope that this information has been of help and wish you a magical holiday!
