We live in Canada and are planning to purchase 5-day tickets for WDW. There is a great Canadian promotion going on now until March for approx. $79 per ticket. With Disney’s new ticket pricing that is about to be released, should I purchase now or wait?

    Welcome BACK, Amanda!

2019 is going to be a great year to visit Walt Disney World Resort. In addition to discovering Pandora - The World of Avatar and Playing Big in Andy's Backyard, next year will see a whole host of new entertainment options as well as a year-long celebration of Mickey Mouse's 90th birthday. "Like" and "Follow" the Disney Parks Blog across all social media channels so you won't miss any new news as it's released!

Disney announced a few days ago that a new, date-based ticket pricing structure is going to be introduced soon, and just like you, Amanda, my fellow Disney Parks Moms Panelists and I are also curious about the roll-out. Since the new ticket structure is not live, and because we don't have access to the proper Magic Mirror to view it just yet, we can't estimate which ticket is going to be a better value at this time. Based on the information found on the Disney Parks Blog, it does seem like some of the best prices under the new system will be comparable to the specific promotion that you currently have access to. While I wish I could provide a clearer answer, I don't want to speculate wildly and dash your Disney vacation dreams. You certainly can wait to see if your package will be available after the official roll-out of the new system in a few weeks, or you could book the promotion now and switch to the new tickets later if need be. But no matter what you do, you're going to Walt Disney World Resort!

We'll See You in 2019, Amanda!
