Disney bands (known as MagicBands in the United States) are a fun tool that helps keep trip details organized and convenient. My daughters’ favourite part of wearing their Disney bands is the simple tap of the wrist to open our Disney Resort hotel room - it makes them feel like they have a little bit of magic of their own. Disney bands also make your day in the parks so much easier. You can tap into the theme parks, scan to collect your Disney PhotoPass images, and even use them to charge dining and merchandise purchases right back to your Disney Resort hotel room.
I wish I had better news for you, but unfortunately, Canadians and other International Guests cannot pre-purchase Disney bands (to be shipped or picked up at a Disney Resort hotel). You can, however, purchase Disney bands on-site at your Disney Resort hotel's gift shop and then link them to your My Disney Experience account. Your Disney band will come with a bit of a charge but you might want to plug it in before using it for the first time (or bring a portable charger with you).
