we live in Canada. Are we able to register via video chat for DAS? or do we have to wait till we arrive ? Thanks

Greetings, and welcome to planDisney, Deborah, we thank you for your question.

Disney’s Disability Access Service (DAS) is a well thought out and designed accommodation for Guests whose disability presents challenges when waiting for extended times at experience queues by affording Guests the opportunity to grab a bite to eat, or simply relax while waiting to redeem the DAS Return Time.

Registration for the DAS can be performed in two ways, the DAS Advance virtual chat online, which Canadians may opt into, from 2 days up to 30 days in advance of your arrival, or during your visit, in-person at any Guest Relations inside any Walt Disney World Resort theme park.

In preparation for your DAS registration, please ensure the Guest requiring the accommodation is present, ensure any vacation package reservations including theme park tickets, or stand-alone theme park tickets are linked to your My Disney Experience planning page, and that your Disney Park Pass – Theme Park Reservations have been made. As well, please update your Family & Friends list to associate all in your travel party – they too, will need a Disney Park Pass – Theme Park Reservation using valid theme park admission.

Download the My Disney Experience mobile app to manage your planning, and once registered, the registered DAS Guest or anyone on the DAS Guestlist may use the Self-Selection Tool in the app to select DAS Return Times. DAS Return Times may also be requested by the registered DAS Guest, or anyone on the DAS Guestlist at an attraction entrance, or Guest Experience Team Kiosk.

    Tips:
The DAS may be used with the Disney Genie+ service.

For further assistance please contact Disability Services at (407) 560-2547, or send an email to disability.services@disneyparks.com.

Kindly refer to Walt Disney World Resort’s Services for Guests with Disabilities for more unique accommodations to make your visit convenient.

Deborah, it was my pleasure assisting a fellow Canadian Disney fan, I wish you a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World Resort, thank you so much!
