Good day Courtney!
A very warm welcome to planDisney! We’re delighted you chose to bring a question our way!
Like me, I’m sure you were thrilled to hear the news that the
Disneyland Resort theme parks will resume operations on
April 30th. Are you ready for fun?! While we do know that initially attendance will be limited to residents of the state of California, we don’t have any official information on the forms of identification the Disneyland Resort will require as proof of residency.
I can make an educated guess based on a past annual special ticket offer, the Southern California Resident Ticket. This special offer required proof of Southern California residency in order to gain theme park entry. Based on previous requirements, I imagine if you have applied for a new license but have not received it in the mail yet, you should be able to use your temporary California driver’s license. The temporary ID should reflect eligible residency within that state of California. If you’re unable to obtain a temporary ID before your visit, you may be able to provide a copy of a bill or statement with your name listed on it. It should be an official lease contract, mortgage statement or a utility bill listing your full name and address. More information about the ID requirements related to the Disneyland Resort theme park reopening will be available at a later date. Make sure to keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest news about the Disneyland Resort. This includes any announcements about how California residents will verify residency and make theme park reservations.
I hope this helps! Please head back to planDisney with more questions in the future!
