Hey Katrina!
Welcome to planDisney! I am honored that you are going to travel to Walt Disney World Resort from lovely Australia! That's quite a journey and I hope to be able to help you have the most magical time.
Now, I don't know when it was last that you visited or if you ever have been but there are so many exciting and new attractions and experiences you should check out! My suggestion is if this is your first time or if you want a well-rounded holiday then visit the four main Theme Parks for at minimum one day each.
Magic Kingdom Park is the classic park that everyone thinks of when they imagine Walt Disney World. You will see why it is a favorite to many as you walk down Main Street, U.S.A, smelling the scents from Main Street Bakery, and stop in front of the beautiful Cinderella Castle majestically standing in front of you! I love visiting Magic Kingdom Park on my first day and heading to Fantasyland to ride Peter Pan's Flight to start my day. It is made up of several lands with many attractions and rides. Do not miss the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade!
EPCOT is made up of four neighborhoods called World Discovery, World Celebration, World Nature, and World Showcase. This Park is not to be missed and has some of my favorite attractions in all of Walt Disney World! Make sure to grab a Virtual Queue boarding group for
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and then relax on
Soarin' Around the World where you will catch a glimpse of home! If you time it right, you can visit during a Festival such as my favorite
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival!
Disney's Hollywood Studios is about celebrating the adventure and imagination of movies and animation! Now, this used to be where the fountain from the movie Splash used to be but due to the recent creation of Toy Story Land and Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge it has now been removed. I know this may not be what you wanted to hear but may I suggest you visit the force of nature that is Miss Piggy posing as the Statue of Liberty with dancing streams of water and fish that look strikingly similar to the one that was on the Splash fountain. You can find her in front of Muppet*Vision 3D!
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is an exploration of nature and fantastical worlds. The classic
Kilimanjaro Safaris is a relaxing tour of an African savanna while in Florida! This is a must-do! I would also make sure to explore Pandora-The World of Avatar at night to see it light up!
I am running out of space and there are so many more things to discuss so if you have any more questions please feel free to
reach out as you have a friend in me! Happy Planning!
