I live in Arizona. Our son lives in Oceanside, CA and has for over 6 years. He has a Southern California ID, bills, etc. We'd like to purchase he, our grandson and one other a So Cal set of tickets as a gift for them. All have SOCAL IDs. How?

    Hello there Robert,

Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for stopping by with your question. It's always great to get to answer questions from a fellow Arizonan!

The Southern California Resident Ticket Offer is a really great promotion - it's so special that you're considering gifting these tickets to your family members. According to the terms & conditions, this offer is for residents within ZIP codes 90000-93599, and a valid government-issued photo ID is required for purchase and admission as proof of eligibility.

These tickets can be purchased from the main theme park ticket page on the Disneyland Resort website. Note that there are two options available - an option that can be used Monday - Sunday, and another that can be used Monday - Thursday (this one is visible by clicking the blue arrow to cycle to the right).

During the purchase process, the person buying the tickets will need to set theme park reservations for all three dates on this ticket offer, but these dates can be easily modified later through the My Plans hub in case plans change. For those who don't know the visit dates yet, but are ready to purchase their tickets now, I typically suggest taking their best guess at when they might visit while buying the tickets since it's so easy to change the reservation dates later! Just keep in mind that theme park reservations are subject to availability and are required to visit one of the parks of the Disneyland Resort.

Finally, as I mentioned above, your son and anyone else in his party who is over 18 will need to present his government-issued ID as proof of eligible residency, so make sure to let him know to have that handy during his visit.

Thanks again for your question, Robert! I hope there are many new special memories made on this upcoming trip.

    Have a Magical Day,
    Greg
