We live in Albuquerque New Mexico. We are 3 adults and 3 children 2-7. We want to book a 6 day cruise around Dec 16-20 and are wondering what option you recommend in the USA or Mexico or Caribbean.

    Hello, Norma-Jean,

Ooh! That sounds like so much fun! Let's go over the steps you can follow to find the perfect cruise for you and your party.

    1. Visit the Find a Cruise.
    2. Select the set of filters to match your criteria.
      • Choose one or more travel months: December.
      • Choose one or more of the destinations: Bahamas Cruises and/or Caribbean Cruises.
      • Indicate the number of Guests and staterooms. (I recommend two staterooms, with at least one adult in each stateroom.)
      • Select all of the number of nights that you think you might like: e.g., 5 to 6
    3. Click the "View Dates" button to display the selection of cruises that may be of interest to you.
    4. Choose a cruise itinerary and click "Continue."
    5. Confirm your party size and number of staterooms.
    6. Proceed with stateroom selection using the "View Staterooms" button.
    7. Finish by selecting your staterooms and paying your deposit.

Given your proximity to Texas, I would recommend considering a cruise out of Galveston, TX, such as the 5-Night Very Merrytime Western Caribbean Cruise from Galveston, departing December 19, 2025. If you'd like to experience the wonder and beauty of Disney's private island paradises, I highly recommend the 5-Night Bahamian Cruise from Fort Lauderdale, departing December 16, 2025. In fact, that cruise will visit both Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. My family and I went on a similar itinerary about a year ago. It was incredibly magical to experience both ot those private island escapes.

Tony's Tip: My family of six really enjoys booking two connecting staterooms with a doorway between the two rooms. It's almost as if we have a large, luxurious suite to share together.

Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Norma-Jean. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to help you make the most of your Disney cruise vacation. If you have any more questions we can help with, please don't hesitate to visit again.

    Bon voyage, Norma-Jean!
